With great excitement, we invite you to Denver for our wedding. It’s so special to us to share our home with you, and to show off those purple mountains majesty, as we make our love for each other official. There are vows and speeches to be said, new titles to be pronounced and bottles of champagne to be popped - all we need is you!
love, Alex & Matt

Dinner & Dancing to follow
Adults only
After five years together, we’d like to make this dating forever thing official. Join us and bear witness as we commit to loving, honoring and cherishing each other for all of our days!
Once the deal is sealed, enjoy an old fashioned or a splash of champagne overlooking the lake and those Rockies. We’ll meet you in the Lake House for our first dinner party as husband and wife (eeee!), and all of the dancing.
Please note that although we love your children, we cannot accommodate them at the ceremony or reception due to restricted numbers (we’re blessed with big families and many wonderful friends!). We hope you will see this as an opportunity to let loose and enjoy the party with us!
On what to wear: You’re a classy bunch, and we hope you’ll wear whatever makes you feel tip-top. A word to the wise, however - there will be some light traversing along a nature path, so be sure to leave your stilettos at home. Chunky heels, wedges or flats are strongly encouraged (for you dudes, too).
Getting there: The Lake House is located a cool 40 minutes from downtown Denver. Shuttles will be transporting guests to the ceremony & reception from the Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel at 5 PM, and returning guests to the hotel at 11 PM. If you plan to be take the shuttle, help us reserve a seat for you by clicking “Shuttle RSVP” below.
Please arrive at the Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel no later than 4:45 PM to take the shuttle.
The After Party
Teller Bar | The Renaissance Hotel
It’s not over until we order Domino’s. Let’s keep the party going with a nightcap at Teller Bar before we hit the hay.

to do
GOOD HIKES
Check out Red Rocks Amphitheater for a great view of Denver, and a little piece of music history. If that’s not your jam, North Table Mountain is another good one in the same area, or we recommend hiking Bald Mountain near Boulder!
YOGA
Downward dog at CorePower Yoga to get your sweat on, or cat/cow at Kindness Collective for something more gentle.
A PARK FOR LOUNGING
Cheesman Park is one of our neighborhood staples, with a spooky history! Originally a cemetery, legend has it that dogs still find bones in the grass. Fear not, however! This place is great. Head over with plenty of snacks, a frisbee and lots of SPF.
A LITTLE MUSEUMing
The Denver Museum of Contemporary Art boasts one of our favorite rooftops, and is an easy spot to spend an afternoon.

Head to Curtis Park Deli for one of the best sammies you’ve ever had. Order the American or the Italian, and say hello to Jay for us!

Vegetarian? Sit on the patio at City O’ City for delicious vegan BBQ or a heaping salad.
Feeling tacos? Tacos, Tequila, Whiskey or Torchy’s will not steer you wrong.
Not sure what you want? Walk to the Dairy Block, an upscale food hall with options for all!

COFFEE
Get your caffeine fix at The Little Owl or Novo Coffee - both conveniently walkable from the hotel!
BEER
Bop over to Our Mutual Friend for seasonal pints, both classic and obscure.

Hudson Hill is the spot. Order an old fashioned (or coffee in the morning), a most killer grilled cheese and sit back to enjoy good tunes on vinyl.
